Years Gone By
Hi Everyone!
It has been several years since I have written anything to update this blog.
This simply needs to change.
Alot has gone on for the past few years.
My youngest daughter has graduated from High School in May 2008. She went away for college to Muskingum College for the year of 2008/2009. Now she is attending Columbus State Community College for the past two years 2009/2010/2011. She is studying to become an Pediatrics Nurse. She would like to be an RN for our local Childrens Hospital, to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She has made the Deans List this past year. We are so proud of her.
About how I have been these past few years...... well it has been up and down with health problems. But, things are stabilized for now. So, that is great news!
I have not been working on many of my creative projects this past year or so. I have quit doing craft shows and fiber shows as a vendor. However I still have my Etsy "stores".
This year we have adopted a few new "fur babies" to our family. In January we adopted a sweet little Pomeranian puppy and we named him "Ty". And in April we adopted an adorable little Yorkie puppy and we have named her "Princess". Both just had their spay and neuter surgeries 2 weeks ago. Both are recovering from their surgeries.
We lost one of our kitties to kidney failure in March and our vet asked us for months as we took her in for treatments if we would give another adult kitty a good home. I finally agreed. Her name is "Gia". We also have adopted a kitten in May. This kitten was supposed to go to my son but the kitten has stayed with us instead. We have named her "Molly" after one of my Grandmother's kitties that I remember from my childhood.
We also lost one of my bunnies a few months ago. He passed away due to old age. "Charlie" was my first English Angora bunny. We miss him.
So, this is a quick update. I will try to write more later.
