Catching up

It had been over a month until yesterday since I wrote to my former blog site. So now.... it is time to catch up on more news.

I have to thank my secret pals from Secret Pal 2 and KR Secret Pal. I have received such beautiful gifts from each of them since I last wrote. My KR Secret Pal has also revealed whom she is and I want to thank her again for putting together such wonderful gift packages for me over the past several months. It has been so much fun to participate in these types of swaps as a secret pal..... both on the giving and receiving end of things. I have such fun planning and giving gifts to someone so I have really enjoyed this alot.

This week and next I need to finish working on a few things for the upcoming show on November 6th. I have several scarves that need finished and also need to felt a few more purses that I have finished knitting.

I managed to get out shopping Friday and found some purple dye for dying wool. I want to try to dye more wool roving this week while we have some warmer, sunny weather. I also should try to get the fleeces washed that I bought last month at the Wool Gathering. I will then have enough wool to keep me busy for the entire winter for spinning, knitting, felting and also creating dyed roving and yarns for selling online, fiber events, farmers market and art/craft shows.

There is so much to write about but so little time right now since I have fallen so far behind on things here at home over the past month. No time to spend online right now since I have so much work that needs done first.
